The first designs for Dorotheenhöfe were developed in difficult economic conditions in the late 1990s, when the property market was oversaturated. To create a complex of high-quality buildings that befits the excellent location of the site, we had to anticipate demand very precisely.

A key contributor to the success of the project was the timeless design vocabulary of the renowned German architect Oswald Mathias Ungers. The selection of the right architect is one of the most important skills a developer must have. Our concept was for five different-sized buildings that could be sold individually and a shared underground garage.

Thanks to thorough preparation, we were able to sell all of the office buildings comprising Dorotheenhöfe turnkey to distinguished companies before the foundation stone had even been laid. Our team completed the project on time and well within budget, handing the buildings over to their new owners on schedule.
